Dimora — Italian for dwelling. It seemed like the right word for a practice that spends most of its time thinking about how people actually live.

Dimora Designz was established in 2022, though the work goes back to 2015 — when our founder started shaping spaces one flat at a time, learning the trade from the site up.
We take pride in translating a client’s vision into something real. The best designs come out of collaboration, so we spend a long time understanding needs, preferences and goals before anything gets drawn. Careful planning, obsessive detail, and a willingness to rethink an idea produce homes that are striking to look at and genuinely practical to live in.
Every space is a canvas with more potential than it first shows. Eleven years in, that’s still the part we find interesting.

Concepts, 3D views, working drawings. You see the space before a single wall moves, not after.
Materials we’d use at home
We negotiate with vendors on your behalf and specify finishes that survive Mumbai humidity and daily use.

Eleven years,

2015The first drawing
Hetvi starts taking on interiors independently — small flats, tight budgets, and the habit of over-detailing every drawing.
2019Beyond homes
The first commercial fit-outs come in. Offices force a different discipline: circulation, services, and deadlines that don’t move.
2021Infidigit
A 4,200 sq.ft agency office in monochrome. The project the studio still gets referrals from.
2022Dimora Designz, formally
The practice is registered and named. Dimora — Italian for dwelling.
2026Where we are now
Eleven years in, 127 clients, and a team that handles design, drawings and on-site execution under one roof.
